I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas . Nathan and I had a wonderful time at my parent’s house this year. One of our Christmas traditions is going to a Christmas Eve church service. I absolutely love going to this with my family each year. After the service we had a wonderful turkey dinner made by my mom. We finished the night laughing and watching the new Tim Hawkins DVD. If you have not see this, then do so asap!
The next morning, Nathan and I woke up and brought breakfast over the my parent’s house. I made an apple cinnamon breakfast danish and a sausage and egg casserole. My dad gave a devotional and prayed as a family. We then had a wonderful time opening gifts.
Then we were off to visit my brother at his home!
We then headed to my Uncle’s house for Christmas dinner, more Tim Hawkins, games and a gift exchange. The day after Christmas everyone came over again and we had more fun playing games, eating pizza and talking together!
Our family then drove downtown to do some ice skating at the Maggie Daley Park. Well, the line was SUPER long so we just ended up watching the skaters and walked around a little bit. We then ended our evening with a wonderful dinner at Harry Careys on Navy Pier! It was a super fun night as a family.
We had a wonderful time as a family celebrating Christmas and I hope you did too!
